What we do
What we do
In a nutshell, we provide the opportunity to wring the neck out of life!
We offer an environment where you can be adventurous, have fun and expand your courage and skills amongst other supportive souls who are genuinely interested in lifting you up and encouraging you to live your life to its full potential as a member of our community.
Outdoor Adventures
Awesome things happen when we get to enjoy the incredible beauty that the Gold Coast has to offer. The great outdoors provides the opportunity to become humbled by our environment. Some of the things we do outdoors include:
- Outdoor hiking adventures (from moderate to extreme)
- Barefoot Bowls
- Motorbike adventures
- Working bees to support other Charities
- Social gatherings
Indoor Adventures
When we bring the awesome inside, the impacts are just as spectacular with things events and activities such as:
- Boxing training
- Trivia nights
- Annual Gala Ball
- Mentoring young men and women at pre-apprenticeship bootcamps
Business support Legends Advisory Board (LAB)
Many of our members are small business owners, making strategic and operational decisions for our businesses without the luxury of a Board of Directors to assist.
The LAB is your very own Board Of Directors, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to your business.
LAB provides mentoring and support from experienced business leaders in our community with the opportunity to participate in a monthly mastermind meeting.
Community Support
We support other Charities and Community Groups with fundraising and assistance.
Some of the ways we make a contribution to community include:
- Participation in the Kokoda Challenge
- The annual Epic Adventure walking challenge for PTSD Resurrected
- Supporting The Sanctuary Women, Children & Pets Refuge
- Providing goods to homeless support groups
- The Annual Walk To End the Wait and Orange Ball to support Transplant Australia
A Rite Of Passage
Traditionally, members of a community undertake a Rite Of Passage to learn what it means to be a member of that community, and earn the right to become a valued member.
The Pride has restored this concept and provides a Rite Of Passage in mentoring men and women, young and old, on what it means to be part of community.
As part of our community, you get to undertake a physical and mental challenge, along with demonstrating a commitment to making a contribution to your community that is consistent with our values.
